What I Want Government To Do For Me
Posted: June 21, 2011 in HomeTags: Defense Spending, Foreign Aide
I would like the federal government to:
1. Cut defense spending by 70%, Bring home our troops from all over the world, and concentrate on defending the interior
2. Eliminate foreign Aide, Corporate welfare, and crony capitalism.
3. Phase out medicare, Social security, and all domestic federal Welfare programs only after we have cut defense, corporate, and foreign welfare programs. Any one who currently receives Social security benefits should be allowed to keep them. Anyone who has paid into the system for over 30 years should be allowed to receive the benefits they have paid into. Anyone who has been in the System 15 years should be allowed to opt out and anyone who has been in the workforce under 15 years which includes me will lose what we have invested.

“There are problematic issues of guns carried in public,” Portantino said. “This loophole should be closed. You do not need a weapon to buy a cheeseburger or a cup of coffee.”
